Genealogists are always looking for historical newspapers for their family history research. One project that is digitizing some of these is
Chronicling America which is hosted by the
Library of Congress. The site has a database of newspapers published from 1690 to the present as well as some scanned images from 1900-1910. A
June 15 press release states that the site now has 310,000 pages. The project is in beta.
