King-Cromarte House in Fort Lauderdale

Another of the older homes in the Old Fort Lauderdale Village is one which was moved there from what is now Smoker Park in the city. It is the King-Cromarte House which was built in 1907. It was the home of a contractor named King whose daughter married a man with the surname Cromarte. The second floor was added in 1911.
